Public Management Concentration
The Public Management concentration provides students with knowledge, skills, and competencies that can be applied broadly in administrative leadership positions across government, nonprofit, and private sectors. Essential management concepts related to budgeting and human resources management are included. In addition, this versatile concentration allows students to choose between a wide range of elective courses to tailor it to their individual interests.
MPA Core Courses (24 credits)
Public Management Focus Courses & Electives (15 credits)
Students in the Public Management Concentration will select three (3) focus courses based on areas of interest and in consultation of the MPA Advisor. Students work with their advisor to select two (2) electives that best match their career and academic goals.
