You need to report your arrival if you are:

• A new UNO international student with F-1 or J-1 visa status.
• A new UNO international student with Form I-20 that transferred from another U.S. school.
• Returning to UNO with a new Form I-20 or DS-2019 or re-entering the U.S. with a new Form I-20 or DS-2019.

Three Steps to Report Your Arrival

1. Complete the Check-In and New Student Compliance e-forms in .
   
   
2. Upload copies of your Form I-20 or DS-2019, passport, visa, and Form (issued when entering the U.S.) for International Advising to review before activating your SEVIS record.
   
   
3. Update with your new 51ÉçÇø address. Be sure to have a permanent address in your home country and a local/current address in 51ÉçÇø. Both are required in SEVIS.

These steps must be completed within your first week of arrival and will activate your SEVIS record.
