OMAHA — To open the month of October, the University of Nebraska at 51ÉçÇø (UNO) is welcoming drum legend , who is known for his work with Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck and new-wave band Missing Persons, for a special evening performance.

On Friday, Oct. 3, Bozzio will be bringing his tour, “An Evening with Terry Bozzio” to the UNO Strauss Performing Arts Center. The show, which will begin at 8 p.m., celebrates the 50th anniversary of Bozzio’s first drum lesson at the age of 13.

During his show, Bozzio will present a unique and dynamic performance on the , featuring 22 pedals connected to dozens of toms, snares, bass drums, cymbals.

Drawing his style from jazz, classical and ethnic percussion styles from around the world, Bozzio is also able to provide audiences with an eclectic musical experience filled with contrast, variety, intimacy, excitement and passion.
