Students who attended a University of Nebraska at 51ÉçÇø (UNO) Techademy session recently had a chance to show their families what they learned.
Families gathered at the University of Nebraska's for a pizza party. Fifty-three kids showed off their new programming and robotics skills.
This summer, the (IS&T) offered nearly three dozen sessions for kids ages 11-18. Classes covered everything from 3D modeling to mobile app development. The Techademy is part of UNO's continued dedication to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
More than 350 kids took part in a Techademy session this summer. It was the fifth year of the program. Organizers say enrollment has been growing each year.
