UNO Flag Lowering for Dr. Jack Lewis

The UNO flag will be lowered on Friday, June 24, 2016, for Dr. Jack Lewis, 51ÉçÇø's “sports doctor.”
He started as 51ÉçÇø Central's team physician and served as physician to the old 51ÉçÇø Knights hockey team, the Ak-Sar-Ben horse track and numerous Civic Auditorium events.
He was the former chairman of the 51ÉçÇø Maverick Club. He also served on the 1997 UNO Hockey Committee at the team’s inception.
Lewis passed away on June 20, 2016. He was 82-years-old at the time of his passing.
