Piano Proficiency
Bachelor of Music in Performance and Bachelor of Music in Music Education majors must pass Class Piano and/or Keyboard Skills requirements as indicated in the degree plan. Visit the Class Piano proficiency requirements and Keyboard Skills proficiency requirements for more information.

Students may test out of keyboard skills and class piano if they pass an exam to demonstrate proficiency in these fields. For more information contact Professor Stacie Haneline. Transfer students who may have passed a proficiency at another institution must also pass the proficiency at UNO.
